Join artist and educator Holly Lukasiewicz for this one-hour creation instructional on creating dioramas. Dioramas are three dimensional works that can be used in art display, education, marketing, and many other practical applications. If you have ever enjoyed a pop-up book or viewed a play, then you have experienced a diorama. Holly will walk you through the methods and history of the art and introduce you to our upcoming artist Jave Yoshimoto's work.

This is an online class. Participants will need a computer or tablet with a webcam, microphone, and speakers, and should feel comfortable using Google Meet, a web-based platform. Registrants will receive an email with an invitation to join the online Google Meet a few days before the event.

Recommended Supplies: Paint, Cardboard, Scissors, Glue, Tape

About the Instructor: Holly Lukasiewicz earned a Master of Education in English as a Learned Language and Special Education, and a Bachelor in Art Education. Having taught in various places in the United States and Europe, she believes strongly in the value that creative outlets provide communities. Her own creative practice has allowed her to build community through projects in Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, California, Oregon and Colorado.
