PACE Youth Ceramics Class - Advanced Youth Ceramics (Ages 7-12)

Students create functional and sculptural works of art in clay utilizing the processes of hand building with molds, coils, and slabs, with extended decorative techniques.  Careful consideration of forms, designs, and uses, along with excellent craftsmanship are emphasized.  Students learn the full process from working with wet clay, applying texture, and applying color.  Projects span two weeks and students are able to build on techniques learned in class with every project. This session will focus on returning students who will move to the next level of sculpting.
